The reason I bet on ecash: war

Regarding the development of ecash, many people pin their hopes on ecosystem development. However, I believe the path of acquiring users through ecosystem development is no longer feasible—because the “golden age” has passed.

You must have seen scenes like this, whether consciously or not: a patch of new land suddenly emerges—maybe because a building was demolished, or a scrap car was towed away… In any case, what appears is a brand-new, blank piece of land with no other plants.

Plants then start to compete freely on this land, much like how the blockchain market emerged from nothing.

Bitcoin seized the first-mover advantage. In the beginning, this land was dominated by Bitcoin and its “copies,” such as Litecoin.

Later, Ethereum joined in. It brought new “gameplay”—the rapid issuance of new coins—and ICOs (Initial Coin Offerings) began to gain popularity. It was like entering a summer with abundant sunlight and rain, where the land thrived with vitality.

Then winter arrived: most plants withered, and even the trees lost all their leaves.

The next year, the trees sprouted in spring. They began to rely on their accumulated strength to take deeper roots and grow taller trunks—all to seize more survival resources and suppress the growth of competitors.

Bitcoin is that largest tree. Besides it, there are other relatively big “plants” like Ethereum, XRP, and SOL—you can see them on any cryptocurrency market cap ranking.

Ecash is just a tiny sapling in this new market, ranking beyond the top 100. It is so inconspicuous. But I believe it can grow, and even has the potential to replace the current largest tree: Bitcoin. All it needs is one opportunity. And that opportunity is: war.

A real battlefield—war in the physical world.

Because only war can usher in a new “king.”

A wildfire is about to sweep across this new land.

Next, I will analyze from the following three perspectives:

  1. Why war is bound to break out, or has already broken out
  2. Why ecash will thrive amid war
  3. Speculations on the timing of the war

War is cruel. To those who read this article, I wish you have an “umbrella” to shield yourself from this storm.
